Using Word confidently is a must for anyone working in an office environment. Many useful features are overlooked or misused because they haven’t been learnt correctly. By learning the right way to use this software you can save time and effort in producing high quality professional work.
People are often scared off by using Excel for anything more than to lay out text in a table. But it is a powerful piece of software and often processes can be automated, meaning that they can be used by any level of user. Whether it’s keeping track of sales data, calculating profit and loss or trying to manage staff rotas, Excel can provide a solution for you. Our training courses can enable you to create spreadsheets as simple or as complicated as you need.
Using software such as PowerPoint helps you to give a professional feel to your presentations. We can provide you with the skills you need to produce fun and informative presentations that will help you portray the message you need. Our Office Training courses are run on a one to one basis, meaning that you get our full attention on the day of the course. The courses are not run on any specific date, and can be scheduled to meet individual requirements. You will be trained only on the features that have been agreed are relevant to your needs. If you are attending the course as part of a group from the same company then we can cater for up to 4 individuals.
This course is aimed at people who use Microsoft products and want/need to understand the full capabilities of these products. Perhaps it is for a new job, or a new aspect of your working day that you need to use Word or Excel. You may be able to save a lot of time just by realising the potential of these applications, rather than waste you r time by repeating the same tasks over and over again.
Our lead trainer, Jennie Bentham, is our office Microsoft expert and has spent many years in further education teaching and running IT training courses across a wide curriculum and working with students at all levels, from teenagers to people in retirement.
Our training is generally done in a morning session or for a full day and is charged at £65 per hour.
